Manx Norton 1954 converted to a Manx Velocette Engine 600 cc special 

Originally commissioned by a gentleman called Ted Scott in 2010 this unusual creation uses a brand new Kevin Thurston 600 cc swish band head new Velocette engine and has proven to be a lightweight rocket. The frame is a supper lightweight Reynolds frame.

Fitted with a Mikuni carb it runs very sweet and is an excellent starter from 2 nd kick.

Having just over a 1000 miles since it was first built it has run perfectly for its owner. 

With a KTT belt drive its trouble free to maintain the clutch and drive components.

HERE WE HAVE A FABULOUS COMBINATION OF TWO GREAT MAKES NORTON AND VELOCETTE
V5C REGISTERED AS A DECLARED MANUFACTURED 1954 NORTON 600cc
THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS TOTALLY RESTORED IN 2007 AND HAS ONLY DONE 12 MILES SINCE.
HAS A REYNOLDS 531 MANX FRAME , WITH GENUINE MANX FRONT BRAKE AND A TRIUMPH REAR CONICAL BRAKE TO LOOK LIKE MANX. THE WHEELS ARE ALLOY SEAMLESS WITH STAINLESS STEEL SPOKES FITTED. THE FRAME HAS A MAIN STAND AND SIDE STAND FITTED AND HAS BEEN PAINTED VELOCETTE THRUXTON DARK BLUE. MANX CENTRAL OIL TANK AND SMALL CIRCUIT STYLE MANX PETROL TANK BOTH TANKS HAVE THE ALLOY FLIP TOP CAPS. NEW PERIOD 120 MPH CRONOMETRIC SPEEDO AND MATCHING 8000 RPM CHRONOMETRIC REV COUNTER. THE SEAT IS A MANX STYLE BLACK LEATHER AND THE RED MANX PIPING TO SUIT WITH CUT OUT FOR CENTRAL OIL TANK.
VERY SPECIAL FRONT FORKS WHICH HAVE THE LANSDOWNE FRONT FORK INSERTS WHICH GIVE A FABULOUS FEEL FOR THE RIDER WHEN CORNERING OR BRAKING HARD,REAR SHOCKS HAVE ALSO BEEN UPGRADED WITH HAGON ADJUSTABLES .

Kevin (KRT) has been designing, developing and producing high quality modifications for Velocettes for over 17 years.
KRT Racing started in 1995 and as a design engineer working on jet engine thrust reversers, tanks and submarines, Kevin became more interested in the technical development of Velocettes. He started producing parts to reduce weight and improve performance for his own bikes.
KTT Services’ mission is to get more Velocettes competitive on the race track and to improve road bike performance and reliability.

The 7" diameter Velocette Venom look-a-like barrel is turned from HE 30 billet aluminium alloy and has a Nikasil coated bore.
